What Anshin Guard does

Anshin Guard helps a user or a trusted manager monitor whether a device has been inactive for longer than a configured safety threshold. The app can show a local alert, send notification emails to configured contacts, and, for paid plans, report recent device safety status to Anvia Studio servers.

Information we process

Depending on how you use the app, we may process account email address, app-generated device identifier, manager contact email addresses, selected language, membership plan, guard settings, last activity timestamps, alert state, status report time, and technical logs needed to diagnose whether the guard service is working.

The app may request Android usage access so it can estimate recent device activity. We do not collect message content, photos, address book contacts, precise GPS location, microphone recordings, camera data, or screen contents.

How we use information

We use information to provide safety alerts, deliver verification and alert emails, support account login, validate Google Play purchases, show device status to authorized managers, detect errors, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

Cloud retention

Free mode is designed to work locally unless an email alert or login action is used. Paid plans may store recent status data for up to 7 days unless a longer retention period is clearly offered in the plan. Server logs may be kept longer for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data with service providers needed to operate the app, including email delivery providers, hosting providers, Google Play billing services, and security infrastructure providers. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users and our service.

Your choices

You can disable the guard service, remove manager emails, log out, revoke Android permissions, cancel subscriptions through Google Play, or contact us to request deletion of cloud account data.

Safety notice

Anshin Guard is a helper tool, not an emergency service or medical monitoring system. Delays, device restrictions, network failures, permission changes, or battery optimization may prevent alerts from being delivered.
